Many libraries, including ours, are currently struggling to keep up with changes in technology, rising costs in books and other materials, staff shortages, municipal budget limitations, and the growing needs, as well as expectations, from their communities for more information, services and programs. By supporting the Bloomfield Public Library Foundation, you help provide the Library with much needed resources to fill immediate funding gaps, while investing in the Library’s future.
How you can help.
Reflecting the diversity and values of our community, your support for the library can take many forms. Options include one-time gifts, recurring donations and planned giving at any level. In some cases, the impact of your gift can be doubled or even tripled through matching grants and corporate gift programs.
What we do.
As a public charity, the Foundation provides stewardship of private funds from individual contributions, corporate support, matching gift programs and traditional fundraising, enabling our library to build a reputation for excellence. Foundation funding supplements the Library’s state and municipal budgets, contributing to capital improvement projects and providing direct support to enhance the Library’s technology services, community programs and collections.
